We setup some uneventful routes. I was leading everything so I was still getting over the fear of falling so everything we did was 9ish... we setup one spiffy trad line on TR (the top of the boulder was easy to get to) it was definitely a 3 star climb as cap't Dixie Cragger said. The name doesn't stick out in my head but it was a easy scramble 5.9.
Heh, but it was fun. We setup a few awesome routes on Clear Creek... warmed up at the Image Wall, then moved over some and hit up on awesome 10 (my first 10 lead) called Spawn I think and another awesome 5.9 called Best Seat in the House. This is the best technical 5.9 I've climbed, small crimpy holds but so good and so fun to climb it. Great view at the end as well. The next day we got adventurous and walked the lower trail that gets sorta close to the river so we could get a better look at it. We found a fun boulder to climb around on down there on the edge of the river and get a nice view of one of the rapids. We setup some different routes but we had to do Spawn and Best Seat in the House again... I took one really good whipper on Spawn because I decided to skip a bolt and fell mantling... ah well it was fun. I don't think I'll be missing that bolt again in the future.
