Raleigh Rockyardwoodzy | 15 July, 2005 15:13 They had a few good bouldering problems... there were two roped problems (highball boulder problems) that I didn't have enough balls to try and pull, but they looked like they had a few cool moves on them. (Orange/Blue #16 in the back?) They were probably average 10's. Nothing there seemed super hard... It seemed like a mainly top-rope area setup for younger kids... not really catering to climbers except for the backside of the gym... I've definitely gotten better at this bouldering thing, some of the moves on their "45 degree wall" where fun they had a few awesome holds that where huge... I see why people at GT are kinda pissed at the "rock" style stuff, you can't really get any large holds for slopers or flat crimps setup... or the 3x2 rock like hold (not that its needed) but it seems wood is just so much more versitle. |
