Jamestown - The seepingness

Escaped ATL today up to Jamestown. I didn't expect the cliff to be seeping as much as it was. I will now never visit it unless its about 3 days after a rain storm. Kinda like Laurel knob. Even Lost Wall isn't this seepy. Blah. There were still a few climbs that were dry, however every...

LRC - Lizard Wall

Awesome climbing here! Its hard sport, but thats what I need to get me climbing better. We got on quite a few routes today. 2 Warm up 11's and 3 12's. I like the non topo'ness. You have to climb or look at everything to figure out if its good or not... if its on lizard wall its...

Jamestown

Jamestown is amazing! Its basically next to Little River Canyon. Everything is sorta well marked, but now that I have the GPS coords of the parking lot, its all gravy. The routes are kinda few and far between, its a better version of Lost Wall basically with worse gear... No not really just this...

Little River Canyon - Grey Wall

Did a couple of the warm up 11's... Then got on some 12a/b then some 11hard then some 12hard. I need to work up my power endurance.

ORGT Beginners School #1

Yay Sandrock... there were so many people there this weekend we had a setup our rappel station (with fancy backup, munter-mule, explosion of knots, gear and rope) on the block behind the normal one. Which was fun rappelling down right next to Jaws . It was a little longer offered a better view,...

HP-40 Boulderama

Spent Friday night at HP40 and all day saturday bouldering. We did some fun night bouldering until about 3am (got up at 9am and it was warmer at 3 heh). One fun problem, probably a nice V3 arete overhang kinda thing. Gotta be a classic. Saturday. I destroyed the tips of my fingers. They were...

Sandrock - Sporty Day

Sandrock on a cold day... this winter climbing this is kinda irritating. hah. I am of course new to the winter anyway. Florida doesn't have what I would consider winters nowadays. I don't understand how Ice Climbing can even occur :) Some 9 on North side of Holiday Block... I...

Sandrock - Beginners Fall '05

Did the whole beginners trip thing as a "practice" trip leader... I'm not too positive I need to lead a real one :)... kinda starts peeling away at all the enjoyableness of the trips. On the bright side I got on Comfortably numb which was super sweet. Also a bunch of...

RockTown!!

As with any good labor day... one should be climbing... I chose the lovely Rocktown to wander to this weekend after much ado earlier in the weekend... I have no idea what I bouldered here... but there were 3/4 fun short (30') solo climbs... and a tremendous amount of fun boulder problems.

Sandrock again

This trip was all well and good until we found out that JoL had been serverly injured... well he could walk but he had torn a ligament in his knee and it needed surgery so thats just not fun AT all. Routes: Some boring warm up routes I forget the name... 10b/c missing the 2nd bolt screws...
