Clito Boulderingwoodzy | 31 July, 2005 10:27 Crossing that river without a boat when the river is high is pretty treacherous especially with a huge mat on your back... rock hopping to we rocks heh. Other than the unexpected 15 minute approach (to go 20 feet) the damn boulders were wet again and I forgot my shoes... so bare foot and chalkless I go... I brought home a few parts of the boulder with me heh... Made some headway on the horizontal crackish thing... All in all it will probably be a v5/6. Boat Rock, ATLwoodzy | 23 July, 2005 20:54 Hit up Boat Rock for the first time... they are not kidding when they say the granite is hard on the shoe rubber :)
Raleigh Rockyardwoodzy | 15 July, 2005 15:13 They had a few good bouldering problems... there were two roped problems (highball boulder problems) that I didn't have enough balls to try and pull, but they looked like they had a few cool moves on them. (Orange/Blue #16 in the back?) They were probably average 10's. Nothing there seemed super hard... (More)New River Boulderingwoodzy | 05 July, 2005 00:29
Canoeing around the New River has shown a few good spot to water boulder especially just a mile or so south of Fries on the River... a huge wall with some killer roofs... only if i wanted to bring my trad gear through the rapids heh. Surely some fun bouldering if your prepared to get soaked... and not fall on the rocks in the river.

Fun deal, Brian from work showed me this place mainly used as a swimming hole by the locals but has some fun boulders out behind the river... It has one super awesome horizontal crack on like a 110degree incline from the horizontal makes for some killer moves... probably around a v6 with the finger crack... good stuff of course it was wet too (More)

New River Trail Boulderingwoodzy | 15 June, 2005 00:24 About 6 miles down the trail from Foster Falls (by bike of course) there are a few good cliffs that maybe have 1/2 trad climbs... I free solo'ed 30ft up one of them 5.8style but decided that there were no longer bomber hold so I'd hop on down... almost slipped on the decent... damn dirt Fun stuff good to pump out after a good 6 mile bike hike ;) A mile or so north on the trail from Foster Falls (NC that is) is another cute wall that has a better grouping of climbs probably 3/4 trad lines some good solid 9/10's probably.. not sure how much of it was dynamited, but the base 10ft was... unfortunately... damn train. St. John Bouldering @ Cinnamon Baywoodzy | 06 June, 2005 02:47 So I took a day off of chillin' on the beach to go find some bouldering... well all the boulders are on beaches at least that I could see... At the far end of Cinnamon Bay on St. John, VI there was a bunch of outcropping... yay good bouldering. Only got the camera woman there for one boulder though... damn beach lure (More)Christiansburg Bouldering Gymwoodzy | 04 June, 2005 08:53

Boone Boulderswoodzy | 27 May, 2005 00:16 Boone has absolutely amazing boulders... too bad the 45 degree wall was wet... some of those problems looked sick! Ah well I'll make my way overthere some other day with a bouldering pad this time too when its NOT raining, not that that is gonna any time soon the way the weather is going. Problems:
